Transfer Domain

Enter the domain name you want to transfer to iTec.

Eligible domains transfer smoothly

Most generic TLDs (.com, .net, .org) are eligible. Transfers add +1 year free to your current expiry.

Authorization Code

Provide the EPP authorization code from your current registrar.

Need help finding your EPP Code? Check your registrar's control panel.

Go to Domain List → click Manage next to your domain → scroll to Authorization Code → click Request Auth Code.

Navigate to My Products → select your domain → Domain Settings → scroll to Additional Settings → click Get Authorization Code.

Go to Domain Registration → select your domain → click Transfer → the EPP code is shown on the transfer page or sent via email.

Open Google Domains → select your domain → Registration settings → scroll to Domain lock → disable lock → click Get auth code.

Log in to your current registrar's dashboard. Look for Domain Settings, Domain Management, or Transfer Settings. You'll typically find an option to disable the domain lock and request an authorization/EPP code there. If you can't find it, contact your registrar's support team — they can provide the EPP code directly.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about domain transfers.

How long does a domain transfer take?

Most domain transfers complete within 5–7 days. The exact time depends on your domain extension and your current registrar's release process. Some TLDs transfer faster than others.

Will my website go offline?

No. A domain transfer does not affect your website hosting or DNS records. Keep your existing DNS configuration active during the transfer — your site stays online the entire time.

What is an EPP code?

An EPP code (also called an authorization code or transfer key) is a security code provided by your current registrar. It proves you own the domain and authorizes the transfer.

When can't I transfer my domain?

Transfers are blocked when: the domain is locked by the registrar, the domain is less than 60 days old, a transfer was initiated in the last 60 days, the EPP code is incorrect, or the transfer approval email hasn't been confirmed.
